About Coaching

Coaching is not about solving problems – but problems will get solved. It’s not about giving advice – but you will gain clarity on what to do. At its core, coaching is about unlocking potential, shifting perspectives, and creating meaningful change.

Unlike consulting, where you receive expert recommendations, or therapy, which often explores the past, coaching is forward-focused. It helps you discover your own answers and take action in alignment with your values, strengths, and aspirations.

My Coaching Philosophy

As a coach, I don’t work with problems – I work with people. That means I won’t tell you what to do, but I will help you figure out where you want to go and take the first steps with confidence. Coaching is a partnership, and it requires your commitment to reflection, growth, and action.

Before transitioning to coaching full-time, I spent over two decades in various professional and leadership roles across industries and cultures. My coaching practice is built on extensive experience, rigorous training, and a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate personal and professional growth with clarity and confidence.

My Approach

My approach is based on Co-Active coaching, a model developed by the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), one of the most respected coaching schools in the world. The foundation of this approach is simple but powerful:

You are naturally resourceful, creative, and whole – not broken, not lacking. You already have the strengths, wisdom, and potential within you to create meaningful change. Coaching isn’t about “fixing” you – it’s about unlocking your ability to move forward with clarity and confidence.
Coaching is about working with the whole person, not just one isolated issue. Challenges don’t exist in a vacuum, and neither do solutions. Coaching looks beyond surface-level problems to explore your values, emotions, mindset, and patterns, ensuring that any change you make is aligned with your bigger picture and sustainable in the long run.

My coaching style is direct, engaging, and thought-provoking. It’s about deep conversations, honest reflections, and transformative insights. I listen beyond words, help you challenge assumptions, and guide you in turning obstacles into resources.

Coaching with me isn’t about following a rigid program. Each experience is tailored to you – your challenges, your goals, your pace.

Coaching Q&A

1. How do I choose a coach?

Think of it like choosing a sports coach. If you were training for an Olympic event, would you pick a coach based purely on cost, credentials, or personality? Probably not. You’d look for the right fit – someone who understands your goals, challenges you, and helps you perform at your best. Coaching is no different. What matters most is whether the coach can help you achieve the results you want.

2. What’s the difference between coaching, therapy, and mentoring?

Therapy looks at the past to heal emotional wounds.
Mentoring provides advice based on someone else’s experience.
Coaching is future-focused, helping you gain clarity and take action in alignment with your values.

A therapist might help you understand why a past experience still affects you. A mentor might share how they overcame a similar challenge. A coach helps you move forward in a way that works for you.

3. What should I expect from coaching?

Expect to learn a lot about yourself. You’ll recognize what’s draining your energy and discover the inner resources that give you power. You’ll gain clarity on your values, uncover hidden thought patterns, and start making decisions that feel right. You may not always get the answers you expect, but you will leave with new insights, perspectives, and tools to move forward.

4. Do all coaches use the same approach?

No. Coaching styles vary widely. My approach is rooted in the Co-Active coaching philosophy, which focuses on you as a whole person, not just a specific issue or goal. I work with both logic and intuition, strategy and self-awareness.

Not sure where to start? Or maybe you have a specific challenge in mind. You might be new to coaching or have tried it before. Either way, what really matters is your intention, openness, and commitment. And let’s not forget – good coaching works best when there’s the right chemistry between coach and coachee.
